Derek E. G. Briggs

Derek Briggs is a professor of paleontology at the University of Bristol who has become a "public" figure due to his involvement, along with H.B. Whittington and Simon Conway Morris, in the massive undertaking to re-examine Walcott’s Burgess Shale collections which was chronicled in Stephen J. Gould’s book, Wonderful Life.
